7. Live Screen Printing Tips & Tricks | Max Hellmann | PrintHustlers Conf 2019
Max from Family Industries in Los Angeles is the industry’s foremost expert on live printing. So when we asked him to join us at our conference and tell 200+ print shops from around the world his deepest secrets about live printing, he balked. Live printing isn’t like making brownies. There’s no recipe to follow. Every event is different. It’s tough, grueling work. But Max armed us with super clear and actionable tips for going into live screen printing. Dom got his start in screen printing through skateboarding and snowboarding, two activities with dozens of custom apparel brands. This is our second video with Dom this year, and one of our favorite articles. Dom is one of screen printing’s emergent leaders, and we can’t wait to keep tabs on his progress throughout 2020.

Pete Bolsoni at Same Day Tees in Frankfurt, IL just outside of Chicago welcomed us to his shop this summer. A few months before 2019’s PrintHustlers Conf, Bruce and I were sitting in the Printavo office brainstorming about who would be a great headliner.
